Thomas & Alice's sweet treat

Ingredients :
4 oz Self raising flour sifted
4 oz Butter or margarine room at temperature
4 oz White caster sugar
2 oz Raisins
1 Tablespoon Golden syrup
1 Heaped Teaspoon of cinnamon
2 Medium size eggs
12 cup cake papers and bun tin/s
(makes 12)
 
Recipe :
1- Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees C

2- Measure all quantiities

3- Put butter and caster sugar into a bowl mix until light and fluffy and well combined

4- re-sift flour and cinnamon into the bowl followed by the 2 eggs beat together until well combined

5- Add the raisins stir in well

6- Use 2 dessert spoons to place a heaped spoon full of mixture into each case

7- Place in the oven for 15 -20 minutes until tops are golden, pop a cocktail stick in the middle of a couple of the cup cakes if it comes out clean they are ready

8- Leave to cool either in th tins or on a wire rack

9- Eat on there own or with a drizzle of single cream

10- Store in an air tight container


Advice :
This is a bit like carrot cake with out the carrot and I just bunged everything I liked together yesterday morning as I had a friend coming round, everyone thought they were good so that's why I posted it no idea where you would say it comes from as I say it's just ingredients I like !
