Crispy chicken wings |

Ingredients :
chicken wings cut in half at joint
2 egg whites
2 tbsp cornflour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
veg oil for deep frying
Recipe :
1. Mix together the egg whites, cornflour, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
2. Add the chicken wings & coat the wings well.
3. Heat the oil in a wok until hot.
4. Deep fry the wings in small batches for 4/5 mins on each side until golden brown and juices run clear when pricked with a skewer. The wings should be nice and crispy.
Advice :
If you require hot & spicy chicken like you get from a chinese takeaway, add chilli powder to the batter mix before adding the chicken.
