Ingredients :
200g powdered almonds
200g powdered sugar
1 egg white mixed with 2 teaspoons of bitter almond essence/extract
Recipe :
In a mixing bowl, mix the sugar and the almonds, add the egg white until smooth.
With a teaspoon, roll dough into balls the size of a little nut.
Place them on a baking sheet, not too close to each other.
Bake them for 15 minutes at 350°F.
Sprinkle with the powdered sugar once you take them out of the oven.
Advice :
You can keep them for many days in a cookie jar without a problem. Delicious with a coffee. You can replace the almond essence with Amaretto or almond liqueur.
