Banana nut bread

Rating
Type of dish : Dessert
To serve : -
Preparation : 15 min
Cooking : 60 min
Budget : Cheap
From : USA, Canada
Difficulty : Easy

Ingredients :
- 300g flour
- 200g sugar
- 100ml oil
- 4 or 5 bananas
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50g chopped hazelnuts
- (milk)

Recipe :
Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together then put aside.
Crush the bananas and put them aside.

Pre-heat oven to 350°F.

In an electric mixer, mix the sugar and the oil.
Add in the eggs one by one and mix for 1 minute.

Slowly add the flour and the banana puree, alternating between the two (if the mixture is too thick add a little milk).
Finally, add the chopped walnuts.

Pour the dough in a greased and floured bread pan.

Cook at 180°C for 60-65 minutes.

Advice :
You can use more or less bananas depending on your taste. In the original recipe for this American cake, walnuts are used instead of hazelnuts.
