Vegetarian pea curry |

Ingredients :
Medium-sized potatoes
400g peas
4 chopped tomatoes
2 onions
5 tablespoons ghee (or oil/butter)
4 cloves of garlic
2 bay leaves
1 cinnamon stick
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
salt
Recipe :
Peel and dice the potatoes. Cut the tomatoes into quarters.
Chop the onions and crush the 4 garlic cloves. Melt them in a large pan with butter, over a low heat.
Add the bay leaves and cinnamon stick, increase the heat and leave to heat for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle in the garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric and coriander, then add the tomatoes and salt and mix well.
Add the potatoes and peas.
Cover the vegetables with hot water and bring to the boil. Once brought to the boil, lower the heat, cover and leave to simmer for 15 minutes over a low heat.
