Recipe :
Put all vegetables and herbs, minus the basil, in a large saucepan. Add 2 litres water and bring to boil.
Season.
Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
Add pasta and cook for a further 10 minutes.
Add basil, pesto and grated cheese, serve.
