Pizza alla marinara (seafood)

Ingredients :
Pizza base
500g cockles and mussels
200g tomatoes
200g mozzarella cheese
Olive oil
 
Recipe :
Spread the pizza base with olive oil.
Boil shellfish to open shells, discard any which remain closed and remove rest from shells.
Peel and seed tomatoes, chop and add to pizza.
Sprinkle seafood on top.
Season.
Cut mozzarella into small pieces and add to pizza.
Pour a last helping of olive oil and put in oven preheated to 350°F (180°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.



Advice :
Try adding prawns and chopped garlic to your pizza for extra flavour.
Recommended wines: white Bandol, Sancerre, white Orvieto
