Director, Steven Soderbergh's first major break was in 1986, when he filmed a concert for rock band 'Yes'. The video 'Yes: 9012 Live' earned Soderberg a Grammy nomination. Three years later, he would become the youngest ever winner of the Palm d'Or for his directional debut, 'Sex, Lies and Videotape'. In 2000, he went on to direct two massive blockbusters, 'Erin Brockovich' and 'Traffic' for which he earned the first double Oscar nomination in 60 years, finally winning the award for Traffic. He has since made both 'Ocean's Eleven' (2001) and Twelve (2004), and has a string of movies in post-production. He has a daughter from his marriage to actress, Betsy Brantley.
