| Biography |  Published by soso2901 | Born in Brooklyn, Debra Messing took singing, dancing and drama lessons from a young age. In 1994 she landed a role in 'NYPD Blue' and this was followed by 'Seinfield'. In 1998 she starred in her first film, Woody Allen's 'Celebrity'. Debra is best known as leading lady, Grace in the tv comedy 'Will & Grace', for which she earned the 'People's Choice' award in 1999 and an Emmy in 2001. She also won the 'TV Guide' award for Best Actress for her part in Allen's 'Hollywood Ending'. |
