Gillian Anderson, aka Agent Dana Scully shot to fame In 1993 when she landed the lead, in cult series 'The X Files', opposite David Duchovny. For ten years fans followed the sceptic F.B.I agent and her partner, Fox Maulder, as they investigated the paranormal.
In 1994 Anderson married Clyde Klotz. She fell pregnant within the month and gave birth to a daughter, Piper, later that year. However, in 1997, the marriage fell apart and Gillian took a break from 'The X Files', to star in her film debut 'The Turning'.
In December 2004, Anderson married journalist and documentary producer, Julian Ozanne. Theiy had their wedding on the island of Shella, in Kenya (Anderson's first wedding took place on a golf course in Hawaii).
