Best known for his stage acting in the US, Frank Langella is best known for his role as Dracula, in both the stage and screen productions of the story, thanks to his dark, exotic looks.

His work on the stage far outshines his screen career, with performances in pieces as varied as Strindberg's 'The Father', to Coward's 'Present Laughter'. Langella is also an accomplished Shakespeare actor.

His well-known film roles include Clare Quilty opposite Jeremy Irons Humbert Humbert in Lolita in 1997, and Jeffrey Roston in Madonna's 1993 film Body of Evidence. He lived with Whoopi Goldberg until 2001 and has two children from a previous marriage.
