| Biography |  Published by josiemegan | London-based pop singer/songwriter Lily Allen made a name for herself on website MySpace before making it big with break-up anthem Smile and debut album Alright, Still.
The daughter of comedian Keith Allen and film producer Allison Owen, Lily has an older sister Sarah, a little brother Alfie Owen-Allen and a number of half-siblings including a baby half-sister Teddie. Lily has also lived with her mother in Leixlip, County Kildare, Ireland.
She spent most of her childhood bouncing from one school to another - in fact, she attended 13 different schools between the ages of five and 15 and was expelled from several of them. She took has a history of drug problems, has been treated in the Priory clinic and says she first took Ecstasy at the tender age of 13.
Despite her popular Mockney street image and accent, Lily was educated at exclusive private schools and has mixed with London's rich and famous from a very young age. |
