Actress Angelina Jolie may wear her name well, but it took more than a pretty face for Hollywood success.
Daughter of actor Jon Voigt, she was born in Los Angeles in 1975 and acted opposite her parents at the age of 7 in 'Lookin’ To Get Out'.
After a successful modelling career, she shot 'Cyborg 2' (1993) and 'Hackers' (1995), where she met her first husband, Johnny Lee Miller.
In 2000 she married a second time, to Billy Bob Thornton, her co-star in 'Pushing Tin', before shooting 'Gone in Sixty Seconds' with Nicholas Cage. Her big break came in 2001, when she was chosen to play Lara Croft, video game superstar, in the Tomb Raider films.
