Born in Jerusalem, she moved to the USA with her parents when she was three. At the age of 12, she gave an impressive debut in 'Leon', opposite Jean Reno, heralding the start of a successful career as an actress. A year later, she played opposite Al Pacino in 'Heat', before taking roles in 'Mars Attacks' and 'Everyone Says I Love You'. By 1998 she had turned her attention to the stage, treading the boards in 'The Diary of Anna Frank', before taking the Star Wars role a year later. Parts in 'Cold Mountain' and 'Closer' followed, cementing her position as one of Hollywood's brightest young stars. |
