| Biography |  Published by fandeseries | Born in Ohio in 1965, Sarah Jessica Parker originally wanted to sing. She took her first Broadway role at the age of 11 and appeared in television sitcoms through her teens. After many film and stage roles, playing opposite Bette Midler ('Hocus Pocus') and Bruce Willis ('Striking Distance') amongst others, Parker took the part of Carrie Bradshaw in 'Sex in the City' in 1998.
As well as playing the New York sex columnist and famous singleton, Parker co-styled and produced the show, for which her Oscar was well-deserved. After going out with John Kennedy Jr, and living with Robert Downey Jr for sven years, she married Matthew Broderick in 1997, with whom she had a son. |
