Teen Queen Sarah Michelle Gellar is best known for her role as Buffy, in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'.
Born in New York, she was spotted in a restaurant at the age of four and was making televsion commercials before she knew it. Several television series later, she took the part of Buffy Sommers in 1996 in the series that was to become a teen hit.
Her first film role came along a few months later, in 'I Know What You Did Last Summer', followed by a part alongside Neve Campbell, Courteny Cox and David Arquette in the second 'Scream' film. After 'Cruel Intentions' with Ryan Philippe and Reec Witherspoon and 'Dangerous Liaisons', she moved into comedy with roles in 'She's All That' and 'Simply Irresistible' in 1999.
She played Daphne in 'Scooby-Doo' in 2001 opposite real-life fiancé Freddy Prinze Jr.
