| Biography |  Published by lalounedu77 | Brad Pitt, surely one of the sexiest men on the planet, grew up in Springfield, Missouri. After a degree in journalism from the University of Columbia, he took drama lessons in Los Angeles, before breaking into Hollywood the hard way.
Following a Levis commercial in the late eighties, he was offered the male lead in 'Thelma and Louise' in 1991. Robert Redford noticed his debut and offered him a part in 'A River Runs Through it' shortly afterwards. After 'Legends of the Fall', opposite Anthony Hopkins in 1994, he shot to worldwide fame in 'Interview with a Vampire' next to Tom Cruise. One of his most successful films, 'Seven', followed in 1995, along with 'Sleepers' and 'Seven Years in Tibet' in 1997. A second collaboration with Anthony Hopkins in 1998 in 'Meet Joe Black' sealed his status, with 'Fight Club' as the icing on the cake.
He married Jennifer Aniston in 2001, before shooting 'The Mexican' opposite Julia Roberts and 'Ocean's Eleven' with George Clooney. The sequel, 'Ocean's Twelve', shot in Paris and Rome, came out at the end of 2004. |
