The White Stripes have cancelled four concerts in Japan due to the lead singer's health. Lead singer Jack White became ill in Tokyo and lost his voice and is not allowed to talk or sing for the next two weeks, under doctor's orders. "We sincerely apologise to our Japanese fans and friends and hope to reschedule dates as soon as we can," a message on the band's website said. The group will return to the scene on January 20th for a concert in Auckland, New Zealand. |
