Brittany Murphy is Engaged

Brittany Murphy is now engaged to her boyfriend, Joe Macaluso.

According to Access Hollywood who revealed the news, Murphy, 28, who has starred in Sin City, Clueless, and Girl Interrupted among others, got engaged over Christmas.

The two met on the set of the romantic comedy Little Black Book in 2004, where Macaluso was a production assistant for the film.  No wedding date has been set.
