| Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall, is hoping to hear his music played in London's West End. Following the likes of Rod Stewart, Queen and ABBA, Hucknall is thinking of having his hits adapted for a musical theatre show. The singer hopes that his music, with a latin edge, will be put together with a love story set in Cuba. Also working on the show, to be called Simply Cuban, will be well-known British choreographer Arlene Phillips. In an interview with ContactMusic, Phillips explained, "It will be a love story interwoven with events from Cuban history." She added, "It will be the Simply Red songs we all know but with a Latin feel, and lots of salsa." |
