George Clooney is at the top of the list of candidates being considered for the role of Magnum P.I. on the big screen. According to the Daily Star, the film's producers think that Clooney is the best man for the role, played on television by Tom Selleck. A source is quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "He is a big fan of the original series. The part is his if he wants it." Earlier this week, producers announced that Marshall Thurber will write and direct the cinematic adaptation of Magnum P.I. for Universal Pictures. Thurber directed the successful 2003 comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. |
