| Brokeback Mountain is expected to win in several categories at this year's Oscar Awards, after receiving eight nominations. The love story, between two gay cowboys, by filmmaker Ang Lee was nominated for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (Heath Ledger), Best Supporting Actor (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Best Supporting Actress (Michelle Williams). . Other nominees in the Best Film include Capote, Munich, Crash and Good Night, and Good Luck. The 78th Oscar Awards will be presented on March 5th, hosted by Jon Stewart.
