Oscar-nominee Reese Witherspoon has turned down offers to record a country music album. The actress, who played June Carter in the film Walk the Line, has been approached by several music label managers. In an interview with IOL, she revealed, "After the movie came out I started getting calls from country music record labels going, 'Do you want to make a record?'" "The answer was 'No, I don't'. I have no desire to do that again, partly just because the performance element was so challenging for me." She added, "I could do it in a tiny recording studio but then when we had to go out and there were thousands of extras who'd just wait for you to do something and entertain them - it was just awful, awful.
