Christian Slater Files for Joint Custody

Christian Slater has filed papers in court asking for joint custody of his children, aged four and six.

The actor filed his request last Friday, and hopes to convince a judge to allow him to share custody with his estragned wife, Ryan Haddon.

Slater, 36, has filed for a divorce from his wife, a television producer, citing irreconciliable differences. The couple married in 2000 and separated on January 1, 2004.
