Troubled star Pete Doherty has sparked further health worries, after he was photographed after one of his gigs with a home-made pipe in his mouth, thought to have been used for smoking drugs.
The Babyshambles frontman, who spent time in custody last month after being given a 12-month community order for drug possession, was snapped with a tin foil tube in his mouth and an open sore near his nostril, which could point to heroin and cocaine use.
Fans who turned out for his concert were shocked by the way he looked, with one commenting: "The man is a mess, maybe it's time he was locked up for his own good."
Under the terms of Doherty's community order, he could be imprisoned if he is caught taking drugs again. In a recent Radio 1 interview, he vowed to stay clean, saying: "I'M not taking anymore drugs, I've just been helped. If I'M on a drug rehabilitation requirement and being tested, there is no way round it." |
