Warner Bros. are planning new sequels for their hit films, Batman Begins and Superman Returns, with their respective directors, Christopher Nolan and Bryan Singer. Although the two directors have not yet signed contracts, the studio has hired Jonah Nolan, Christopher's brother, to write the script for the next Batman film. The studio also hopes that actor Christian Bale will return to the role of Batman, while Brandon Roth will play Superman. Superman Returns is expected to be in cinemas on June 30th with the sequel projects ready for audiences in 2008 and 2009. |
