The Rock group The Killers is being sued by their former manager for $16 million. The suit was filed on Tuesday in a Los Angeles court by the band's former manager, who is accusing the rockers of breach of contract, and alleging that their new manager interfered with the relationship between band members and their former manager. Braden Merrick discovered the four men in 2002 and helped them cut their first album in March 2003. Hot Fuss went on to sell more than 6 million copies world wide. Merrick's company, From the Future, is asking for $15 million in damages as the result of a breach of contract, as well as one million dollars that he personally had invested in creating the band. |
