Kylie Minogue is set to make her first public appearence since last year's breast cancer diagnosis at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, next month.
After surgey and chemotherapy in France, Minogue completed preventative radiotherapy in Australia last week, adding strength to the rumours which have been around for months that she would stage her comeback at the opening ceremony for the Games.
Organisers have said that "it would be fabulous if she was one of the guests of honour at the opening ceremony. Everyone is mindful that she has been advised not to overdo things, but if she agreed to sing, that would be the icing on the cake."
Kylie is currently recovering with her family near Melbourne. |
