American diva Mariah Carey is returning to movies, with a part in the movie Tennessee. The singer will be starring in the independent film directed by Aaron Woodley (Rhinoceros Eyes). The movie will begin filming in the spring in New Mexico and Tennessee, with Carey as a waitress, who with the help of her two brothers, sets out to find the father they never knew. Carey is hoping the project will be more successful than her last foray into film in 2001, in the movie Glitter, which was a box-office disaster. |
