Almost three months after her breakup with Nick Lachey, singer and actress Jessica Simpson has broken her silence and given an interview to W magazine. In the magazine, coming out on March 17th, Simpson was vague about the reasons behind her filing for divorce. "I don't know what happened to me," she stated. "It's so strange. I'M just proud of allowing myself to think and to act and to be me. I didn't want to let my fans down, my family down," she says. "But then you just have to realize that if you're not happy, you can't make someone else happy." "I feel like everybody's always out to get me, and that's a weird feeling," she says of the media. "But you can let the chaos consume you or you can stand next to the chaos and just walk along with it." The star is in New Mexico at the moment, shooting the movie Employee of the Month. |
