Anna Nicole Smith's case is now being heard by the Supreme Court of America. The saga of the glamour model's inheritance has now been brought before the highest American court, as the blonde ex-Playmate fights for what she believes is hers, left to her in her late husband's will. Smith was married to J. Howard Marshall, who was 63 years her senior. The billionaire, ranked 181st wealthiest man in the United States, left her jewellery, gifts, and a residence valued at over $6 million. Since the death of her husband 11 years ago, Smith has been battling Marshall's son for the rest of the inheritance. After losing a first legal battle, a Californian court overturned the decision, siding with Smith. Another appeals court then overturned this later decision, arguing that the California court had no jurisdiction in the case. Smith's case began in front of nine judges of the Supreme Court, yesterday, as the model, dressed in sobre black, reportedly began to cry at one point on the proceedings. |
