Michael Douglas is suing two American media companies that have used his name and image without his consent. The 61-year-old star is suing Family Television Studios and Paradigm Media Group, which are both based in Florida. According to the actor, he had aggreed to work on a project with both companies, called Learning About, stipulating that the project was educational and non-commercial. The celebrity claims that the recordings made were commercial, and were for the companies' own gains. He is asking that all the profits generated be paid back, is also demanding a financial compensation of $75 000, and that they pay his legal fees. |
