Pete Doherty, lead singer of rock group Babyshambles, has been arrested once again, this time for car theft and drug possession. Doherty, supermodel Kate Moss's ex, was arrested on Monday night in Birmingham, along with two other men, aged 18 and 19. According to the authorities, the three men were arrested as the main suspects in a car theft that took place in London. They have been released while the police continue their investigation. According to a witness, the police chased Doherty, 26, who was driving on the wrong side of the road. This is not the singer's brush with the law, he has been notching up a string of offences over the past few months and was recently arrested for seven counts of drug possession. He has not yet been tried. |
