Actress Jessica Alba is outraged at Playboy magazine and threatening Hugh Hefner with legal action, after they published her photo on the cover of its March issue. The actress, star of Sin City, Fantastic Four and Into the Blue, did not appreciate the way her photo was used, issueing a legal warning after she found her picture had bee published on the cover, without her knowledge. She claims that the photo suggests that she posed nude or semi-nude. Alba has asked that Playboy stop distributing the magazine and provide her with a "monetary settlement" for its unauthorised commercial use of her image, after she refused to pose nude for them on an earlier occasion. The photo used by Playboy is a promotional photo from the movie Into the Blue. The producer of the movie from Columbia Pictures has stated in a letter that it was "outrageous, unethical behaviour utilised by Playboy personnel to obtain phtoographs." |
