Madonna has just announced her first concert date since the release of her new album Confessions on a Dance Floor. The singer will be in concert on April 30th at Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival d'Indio in California. The performance marks the superstar's first ever festival gig. This festival is known for electronic music, attracting musicians such as Kraftwerk, Underworld and Fatboy Slim in the past. Madonna told Billboard magazine, "I've never performed at a festival, and I'M especially excited about playing at Coachella before I start my own tour." This tour will be starting sometime in May, when the star will be performing in smaller cities than she did last time around. In addition to Madonna, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will feature Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Depeche Mode and Tool.
