American actress and former Friends star, Courteney Cox, is planning to return to television in a series called Dirt. Cox, who played Monica Geller in Friends is filming a pilot for the FX channel in the United States. She is set to play Lucy Spiller, a newspaper editor, in the new drama series. The president of FX is thrilled to have Cox joining the series, saying: "We are absolutely thrilled that Courteney has chosen 'Dirt' for her return to series television." Cox's husband, actor David Arquette, is one of the executive producers of the project. |
