The band, led by singer Eddie Vedder, will release their eighth studio album on May 2nd.  The first single from that disc, World Wide Suicide, will be available on the band's website for free downloading from March 8th, for two days only.

Eddie Vedder spoke recently about the upcoming release, "It's very aggressive, because again, it's kind of a product of what it's like to be an American these days. It's pretty aggressive, especially when you turn it loud."
