Best Actor Oscar-winner Philip Seymour Hoffman is set to star with Laura Linney in The Savages for Fox Searchlight Pictures. The film was written by and will be directed by Tamara Jenkins. Hoffman and Linney will play a brother and sister forced to care for their aging, estranged father. Production is set to begin on the film in April in New York. Hoffman can be seen soon in Mission: Impossible 3, which opens on May 5th. Linney's next project is the political satire Man of the Year, and she is also starring in the spy thriller Breach. |
