Welsh singing sensation Charlotte Church has finally given up smoking, in a bid to save her famed 'voice of an angel'.
The star revealed that she had tried to give up several times before, which was made all the harder because her family including her mother, Maria, all smoke. The Crazy Chick, who has just turned 20, admitted that towards the end of last year she was smoking a pack a day and when it began to affect her singing voice, she made it her New Year's resolution to kick the habit.
She told 'Female First': "In the last four or five months before I gave up it was affecting my voice, my breathing control, my tone, and I thought, 'What am I doing here?' "Now that I've stopped it's got so much better." |
