Tom Cruise has given Katie Holmes an iPod with relaxing music for her labour and delivery. The star is trying to pass on some of the teachings of Scientology to his future wife, which stiplulates controversially that a woman should give birth in silence. The iPod he gave her contains 300 of her favourite songs. According to the newspaper The Sun, the couple has put up a large sign, 2 metres long, in their Los Angeles residence, reminding Holmes not to make any noise, and to slow her movements down during labour. According to Scientology, not following these instructions could be traumatic to the baby. Katie Holmes is expected to deliver anyday now. |
