The French film Astérix has added more stars to its already impressive cast. This movie, directed by Thomas Kangmann and Frédéric Forestier is starring Clovis Cornillac (Astérix), Gérard Depardieu (Obélix), Alain Delon (Jules César), Benoît Poelvoorde (Brutus), José Garcia (Sacapus), Jean-Claude Van Damme (Cornedurus) and Stéphane Rousseau (Alafolix). This movie is expected to be one of the most expensive French films ever, costing an estimated 78 million euros. Other stars to make appearances in the movie include comedian Franck Dubosc, supermodel, Gisele Bundchen, and sportsmen athletes such as Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, and F1 driver Michael Schumacher. The F1 champion Michael Schumacher will be driving against Jules César, Brutus. Shooting will begin on June 22nd in Spain, and Astérix will be in cinemas in December 2007. |
