American actress Cameron Diaz has finally won her court battle against a journalist who wanted to publish nude photos of the star. A Los Angeles judge ruled in favour of Diaz, who said that the photos were taken before she became famous, and that she never gave her consent for them to be published. The photographer, John Rutter, tried to sell the pictures back to Diaz at a price of $3.3 million and was was found guilty last July for attempted larceny. This time, the judge threw out Rutter's request for $10 million from Diaz for breach of contract. The judge also put a permanent injunction on the photographs, which means that they will never be allowed to be made public. Rutter must also pay Diaz's legal fees for Diaz. |
