Lindsay Lohan has been snubbed by design house Louis Vuitton. the luxury goods brand hinted last week that Lohan was to advertise an upcoming collection, but the prestigious contract has now been offered to Naomi Campbell instead. The 19 year-old star was to replace Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen as a new face of the brand. According to rumours, Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs, who is a good friend of Lohan's, insisted that the actress join the campaign. However, Vuitton executives overrode his decision, stating that Lohan was "too American" for their global brand. Campbell is reportedly thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton campaign, even though she is currently facing assualt charges in the USA. |
