Tom Cruise Flies Vintage Plane While Katie Waits for Baby

With girlfriend Katie Holmes about to give birth, actor Tom Cruise took to the skies in a 63 year-old plane.

Cruise, 43, went flying in his own World War II plane for the afternoon over the weekend.  The star of Mission: Impossible III left a Los Angeles runway in his 1943 Mustang fighter plane, raising a few Hollywood eyebrows as to why he would take such risks on the eve of the birth of his first biological child, for whom he is rumoured ot be planning a controversial Scientology silent birth.
