Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez has filed legal documents in a bid to stop her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, from releasing a tell-all book. The American star asked a Los Angeles court to block the book's release on Monday. According to legal papers, Noa has been "shopping a manuscript containing private and intimate statements, many of which are negative, denigrating and disparaging, about his ex-wife." The New York Post reports that the book's title is The Unknown Truth: A Passionate Portrait of a Serial Thriller. Lopez got married to Noa, her first husband, in February, 1997. The couple opened a Miami restaurant together, only to divorce after just 11 months of marriage. |
