American singer and actress Jessica Simpson is being sued for $100 million for breach of contract. According to website thesmokinggun.com, Simpson did not keep her end of the contract when she agreed to work for Tarrant Apparel Group, who make jeans and accessories. The suit was filed in a New York court. According to Tarrant, the star was hired to promote their products, however she later refused to be photographed in the JS jeans that the brand had created for her. She also did not wear the clothing for appearances and concerts as she had agreed to in the 2004 contract, which was a three-year arrangement. |
