Eminem has been shocked by the death of one of his closest friends. According to FemaleFirst, the star is devastated after rapper Proof, from D12 was shot dead two days ago. In January, Proof served as Best Man for Eminem when he married his wife Kim for the second time. Proof, whose real name is DeShaun Holton, was pronounced dead upon arrival at a Detroit hospital. He had been shot in the head in an illegal bar on Eight Mile Road, which became famous in Eminem's movie of the same name. There was also a second shooting victim, who is in critical condition. No details were given regarding the shooter's identity, but it is believed to have been a gangland killing.
