Pink has joined animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), as a representative of the group in the fight against fast-food giant KFC. Pink will be part of the publicity campaign entitled, Kick the Bucket, which is a world-wide petition against the fried chicken restaurant. The newly-married star, whose real name is Alecia Moore, spoke to the New York Post about her reasons for joining the movement, "PETA is simply asking KFC to modernise its methods and stop boiling birds alive." |
