Renee Zellweger to Star in Case 39

Renee Zellweger has joined the cast of the horror film Case 39, after signing a deal with Paramount Pictures. The thriller follows the story of a social worker (Zellweger) who saves a 10 year-old girl who is being abused by her parents, before discovering that things are not as she thought.

A director has not yet been named for the project, although filming is set to begin on July 31st in Vancouver.
