Tom Cruise's finacee Katie Holmes, reportedly did her best to be silent during the birth of their daughter, but ended up opting for an epidural. Cruise, who is a follower of the Church of Scientology, believes that a mother shouldn't cry or make noise while giving birth. When Holmes, 27, went into labour last Tuesday, she opted for a pain-killing epidural to help her to stay calm and quiet during the delivery. According to the Daily Mail, Cruise is very happy with Holmes' performance, and the couple's first child, a daughter, has been named Suri. |
